MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 16th January 2007 AT BUTT LANE COMMUNITY CENTRE AT 7.30pm.
PRESENT :- COMMITTEE:- Graham Sutton, Chris Brough, Michael Moore, John Gallacher, Correna Gallacher, Brian Collis.

MINUTES OF MEETING HELD 12th December 2006 were circulated and accepted as a true record. Proposed as a true record - C Gallacher - Seconded - L Sutton.
WELCOME/INTRODUCTION and THANKS Chairman opened the Meeting and thanked Members and Guests for another excellent attendance.
Chairman thanked County Clr's J Taylor and M Astle for joining our Meeting tonight.
Chairman also referred to the following :-
CHRA Lottery Bonus Ball, next subscription due in 3 weeks time, anyone wishing to pay tonight, please see either John or Correna Gallacher.
Next Westmorland surgery is on Tuesday the 22nd January 2007 at 5.00pm at Butt Lane Community Centre.
CHRA next Meeting is on Tuesday the 20th February 2007 - 7.15pm for 7.30pm start. Guest speaker will be Graham Davies who will give a talk on Smartwater, Graham is an excellent presenter, on a very interesting subject. The second half of the Meeting will be handed over to the floor for Residents to raise any issues/concerns they may have.
GUEST SPEAKERS Chairman then handed over the rest of the Meeting to the Police Consultative Committee which was chaired by Mr Peter Vigurs.
A very comprehensive view of Police Activities was given by Inspector Louise Jarvie. This review also included a Post summary of The Community Pride Project which took place in our area during November 2006. This was followed by a lively question and answer session, all questions were fully and professionally answered with positive input from County Clr's John Taylor and Margaret Astle.
Chairman closed the Meeting and thanked the Police Consultative Committee for joining us and for providing Residents with the opportunity to express their concerns.
