The Formation of Clough Hall Residents Association
Our residents’ association was formed in June 2005 and covers the five hundred and fifty properties located in the Clough Hall area of Kidsgrove. The area is unique because of its location …. surrounded by old established wooded areas, lakes and the close proximity of the park … all of which compound the problems associated with today’s living.
The objectives of the association are to address such issues as …
a) To represent the majority of all residents of the Clough Hall area in respect to improving amenities, environment and conditions of life.
b) To facilitate community activity, recreation, amenities, education and training to encourage a community spirit in the area.
c) To represent the majority interests of residents in consultation with other organisations.
d) To do all such lawful things as are necessary to the attainment of the above objectives.
We are an Independent Association and are Non-Party Political.
Meetings are held nine times a year and include guest speakers and social events.
Strong support and representation is given by Local Councillors, the Police and members of Kidsgrove Community Action Team.
